But I thought that foreigners stealing British jobs was one of the reasons you wanted Brexit? twitter.com/BBCNews/status…..
I’m surprised to see you here, Mr. Farage. I thought you were marching 200 miles for the leave campaign? How many did you do? 2 miles! You remind me more & more of Field Marshal Haig in Blackadder, sitting safely in his office, while his people are walking in the cold & the rain.
The EU member states should grant UK citizens living in Europe the full rights as they have today. Automatically. No ‘ifs and buts’ here either. Let's also come back to the idea of ‘European associated citizenship’ for UK citizens who want to keep their link with Europe.
Nigel Farage has been an elected MEP since 1999, but now says he comes out of "semi – retirement". As I already warned in 2012, the biggest waste of EU resources is Nigel Farage's salary. Why would anyone re-elect him to this role? https://t.co/fwsAEu8kzr
Hi @KateHoeyMP, thanks for the feedback. Actually, I was elected by my constituents with over 500k votes.
Imagine an elected MP campaigning on Europe, not knowing that MEPs are elected? https://t.co/dEEQOVfMoN
You’re all thinking: another extension. I am thinking: another three weeks listening to Farage https://t.co/Cob2wPmghP
I don't remember seeing this on the side of a bus 🤔 https://t.co/13OJ6an1Wp
Conservative party donors, backing Brexit but at the same time seeking EU citizenship via Cyprus. Pardon my French but ordinary British citizens are being screwed over by their elite.
At least one big relief in the Brexit saga: the rule of law in the UK is alive & kicking. Parliaments should never be silenced in a real democracy.
I never want to hear Boris Johnson or any other Brexiteer say again that the European Union is undemocratic.
John #Bercow is a driven speaker and gifted orator but above all the keeper of the great British parliamentary tradition. I would love if we could welcome him in the European Commission or European Parliament 😉 https://t.co/CiV0MlQMOt
We will look after your star & work to ensure the EU is a project you'll want to be a part of again soon! 🇪🇺❤🇬🇧 https://t.co/QRdxGb5cCC
Removing rights and denying opportunities is not progress. #IamEuropean twitter.com/Conservatives/…..
Nigel Farage’s salary is the biggest waste of money in the European Union: his only objective is to destroy it from within! Sending him back to Brussels would be insane.
Here’s three times I told him the truth 👇 💥 https://t.co/AF6rafYKQg
Opposing a no deal is not "surrender". This is the language of Europe's dark past. It implies Britain's European allies & neighbours are enemies. I refuse to believe the majority of British people think this is the case.
Clearly the EU still inspires some in the UK 😊 #QueensSpeech https://t.co/vqTWnxKk1V
If we had known in advance that blue was so important to the UK, we could simply have replaced our passports by this one 😊 https://t.co/fnUiLowyq7
We ❤ you too! 🇪🇺🇬🇧 #IamEuropean https://t.co/eWBRrg2wVY
Brexit set to cost British citizens almost more than 47 years of payments to the EU budget by the end of this year. 🇪🇺🇬🇧
The real costs are the uncertainty & loss of opportunities for all Europeans, which could still be incalculable. #IamEuropean https://t.co/jf6ZZ7pzBG
It was a sad day, but singing together with all my colleagues in the Parliament together with our British friends was a beautiful goodbye. We will miss you! twitter.com/BBCPolitics/st…..
Well, I doubt Lucifer would welcome them, as after what they did to Britain, they would even manage to divide hell 🙂 twitter.com/eucopresident/…..
Farage is a long sitting, career MEP in Brussels, with one of the lowest attendance rates. He would rather sign in & go to the pub than fight for British interests in Europe. Sending him back would be insane!
Instead of throwing dead fish in the Thames, Nigel Farage should have done his job as a member of the fisheries committee in the European Parliament, as I told him already years ago!
"Taking back control" has never looked so sinister. As a fellow parliamentarian, my solidarity with those fighting for their voices to be heard.
Suppressing debate on profound choices is unlikely to help deliver a stable future EU - UK relationship.
